Before we decided to settle in Bulgaria, we found out that this country is a real paradise for nature lovers!

And yet we continue to be almost daily surprised by the enormous diversity
of fauna and flora that Bulgaria is rich in!

Here you can find a small overview of what we have spotted here in our region .

That the nature park 'Rusenski Lom' it is an ideal base for bird watching is very clear,
but if you ask a local bulgarian if scorpions live here,
you get persuasive a convincing "no" nodded,
and our village doctor who was born and raised here have never seen a sand viper ..
And that local sandstone rock formations at the fans are known as
one of the richest sites of fossils in Bulgaria's regional also not well known.

More reason to be alone or to withdraw from urban world and explore the countryside:
